Byrd Pressley's Biography:
Byrd Pressley was born in Pittsburgh, PA. He traveled around the world entertaining with The New Century Platters. Byrd later formed the Byrd Pressley Band. In the mid eighties he was managed by Cissy Houston, Whitney Houston's mother, and Toni Chambers for their Company, Personal Touch Management. Byrd also was a special guest performer for the Miss Maryland Pageant. He had several songs released in Europe that hit the UK charts.
Byrd has worked with saxophone player, Kim Waters and Piano Great Cyrus Chestnut; both are well known in the jazz world and in the late eighties, Byrd toured Europe before coming to Caesars Pocono Resorts. In 1996, he was promoted to entertainment manager for Caesars and currently performs with the Byrd Pressley Band.
Gary and Greg Grainger, for the Grainger Brothers Productions, produced his CD, P.S. I Love You.
Margaret Harris, a NY based film director, is currently composing a documentary on Byrd's life and how he got
started in the music business. Byrd manages to balance the entertainment business, equalize the performing duties for Caesars Pocono Resorts; plus he continually works on new material for his singing career.
